Joanna Laven

This -modernist style – house, is from the early 20th century. As in previous projects, the soft tones and natural materials serve as the backdrop for Joanna Laven’s careful selection of furniture. A combination that gives character and charm to her interiors, masterfully mixing recovered pieces with iconic pieces by Gianfranco Frattini, Holm-Sørensen or Charles, and Ray Eames, among others.

The kitchen is a focal point of the project, and It was completely redesigned in a classic style with panels, ceiling rosettes, and stuccoes.

The lights are again the protagonists of the project, from the spectacular Italian design lamp in the dining room, through iconic pieces by Mario Bellini, Svend Aage, or Aquile Castiglioni, to the more recent designs such as the Snoppy model by Flos. A tricky mix, which Joanna executes as it was a child’s play.

Joanna Laven has once again managed to create a first-class project, which exudes good taste.

Not long ago we published another extraordinary project by Joanna Laven [click here to see it].
