Neuendorf House | Absence of Superfluous

The Neuendorf House

Designed by John Pawson and Claudio Silvestrin, resembles an art installation. Its clean and defined lines, where vertical forms and geometry prevail, evoke a modern version of the ancient world. The use of natural raw materials and the all-pink color surrounding it create a serene palette that blends perfectly with the landscape.

The absence of superfluous elements, the cleanliness of lines, the continuous planes, and the mixtures of natural and artificial light shafts are the essence of the architects’ duo: minimalism at its best. The villa, located in the town of Santanyí, Mallorca, is an exercise in containment and architectural purity, an oasis of calm and tranquility. Neuendorf House can be rented through Welcome Beyond from a price starting at 714 euros per night.
