Industrial and harsh elements characterize this fantastic loft apartment & studio designed by Annabell Kutucu. Black pieces juxtapose with white tones to create a unique contrast. The house looks impeccably styled; then, at the same time, it has this grunge feeling. We love the effect of the superposed rugs underneath the- always- spectacular Piero Lissoni sofa, the elegant pair of PK22 chairs, and the Jacobsen’s egg chair (which I don’t particularly like, but in black leather is just marvelous).
Who would have thought that a black moquette was a good idea for a bedroom? In combination with the white and grey linen bedding is superb!
The black wall in the kitchen enlarges the space as it appears to recede from the viewer, and the choice of furniture with dark finishes allows it to blend perfectly. Although one might fear that dark colors absorb too much light, the series of windows that form a continuous band horizontally across the facade allows for this blunt use of color…
