PLANTS
Don’t give up your green space because you don’t have a big balcony or terrace. There are plenty of solutions to keep your outdoor area lively, however small: shelves for your plants, and hanging planters or pots.
Green leaf plants are the base from which star to build a small garden. Chose species that are resistant to wind and sun and do not need extreme care. Flowers provide the touch of color. OUTDOOR FURNITURE FOR SMALL SPACES
If you don’t have much balcony space, it’s best to use folding furniture. Also, small tables that are close to the wall or the railing free more space.
TEXTILES
A good way to personalize the balcony without taking up too much space is using textiles. Both cushions and mattresses should be covered with outdoor fabrics that can resist moisture, mildew, and light and, of course, be easy to clean. The most common are Canvas made of natural fibers like cotton or linen. Acrylic coated polyester, Vinyl fabrics, can also be used, although it is not our first recommendation.
LIGHT AND SHADE
An umbrella will help to enjoy the terrace during the day. Make your terrace available for use at night. Choose warm lighting, garlands, candles, lanterns. Hang them from the ceiling, walls, railings, and even put them on the floor.
