Today, we want to share the great work of another Australian firm (check our previous post: Renato D’Ettorre Architects) . We have to admit that before our blog adventure we knew little about how many incredible interior design and architecture studios there are in Australia. I imagine that the Europe-centric approach to art and culture sometimes narrows our vision.
Conrad Architects focusses in bespoke residential projects. Melfort Townhouses is a great example or their work. The studio was able to create spaces and volumes sensibly imprinted by proportion, geometry, circulation, and voids. The use of raw and noble materials like oak and Carrara marble forms a minimal, yet complex with deep strength, ambiance.
