Louise Liljencrantz’s home is in the heart of Stockholm, in the Brahegatan district. Its original moldings, fireplaces, carpentries, and floors enamored the designer, who knew from the very beginning that they had to be preserved.
The interior designer decided to remain within a minimal palette of colors (grey, beige, white and green, with accent touches of black), and to add character by using the textures profusely. Louise designed some custom-made pieces and combined them with design icons, such as the Alanda coffee table by Paolo Piva, the lamps by Serge Mouille or the chairs by Jonas Bohlin and Peter Hvidt, among others. The result is a space that is serene, subtly luxurious, and as elegant as it is welcoming.
