Santa Clara 1728 is part of the Silent Living project. A home away from home, located in Lisbon, Portugal, and designed by Aires Mateus. An unadorned architecture that combines high-quality materials; stone, tiles, and wood, which are familiar to the traditional construction of the city.
With only six rooms, the silence, the space, the purity of the materials, and the Tagus river as the perfect setting, are the main ingredients of this house that make the visitor feel home and connected to its essence.
For those who appreciated the wisdom of books, silence, and simplicity, Santa Clara has an unfinished nuance, seems to be needing life for it to be finished.
Bonus: The stunning bathtub was carved out of a Lioz limestone block. Undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen.
