This Parisian apartment, designed by the French architect Sophie Dries, is in one of the most fashionable neighborhoods: Le Marais.
The space maintains the Haussmann style characterized by its floral moldings, the Herringbone parquet floor, and the marble fireplace. Still, the style is further refined with the introduction of contemporary pieces by artists such as Banksy, Space Invaders, or Jon One. Also, the use of Midcentury classics pieces like Eero Saarinen’s marble Tulip Table or Hans J Wegner’s chairs helps enhance the mix of traditional and contemporary.
The space flows almost without barriers, and the different color palettes used in the rooms generate an exciting contrast with the elements that were left white.
An inspiring combination of colors and styles that results in a vibrant interior. If you liked this project, click here and here for more Parisian apartment inspiration.
