Trend Alert | 3D Tiles

The three-dimensional effect on the walls is back. It is one of the Interior Design Trends for 2020. This year they are reinventing the style, and both niche brands and deco giants of wall and floor tiles are joining the trend. They come in rectilinear shapes, innovative materials (resin, polyurethane, or cement) in “grammable” colors and with a clear architectural and artistic vein. 

Inspired by tradition, approaching the mosaic tesserae up to the 1930s, like those by Lindsey Lang based on designs by sculptor Harold Stabler), or opting for minimal forms, such as the 3D wall coverings by Orac Decor. 

Prot tip! Mix sizes and textures to create rich surfaces or tangram-like wall sculptures, and playing with heights and op-art effects.
